Abode of Grace (Perak): Victoria Bridge, Kuala Kangsar

To me, the phrase that goes ... "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" doesn't apply to me literally because there's always something good in your own country that you never notice until you work hard to discover them.

So, meet Victoria Railway Bridge, that crosses Sungai Perak at Karai and is one of the oldest railway bridge in Malaysia. This place is accessible to public, so make sure you take lots of pictures before heading home :)

Local still use the bridge to cross over the other side via transportation such as motorcycle. It is too narrow that one must give way to another, let whoever uses it first to pass.

The railway bridge is still standing strong with its iron lattice stretch across thousand feet long, resting on six brick piers, with 40 feet above river level.

Thankfully, it wasn't that hot when I was there for some photo-shoot :P

Trust me, there will be more gems to discover soon. . .
Thanks for reading, see you!
